It is not common practice, to leave your kids outside stores! People that does such a thing should be shot, twice!!!

Remoulade is not LIKE Mayonnaise, it IS, Mayonnaise, then you add a little sweetness to it, typicall just a half teaspoon can be enough, some Curry Powder, then finish it up, with grinded either Cucumber, that has been soaking atleast 24 Hours, in an equal amount of Water, Vinegar, Sweetener 🙂

Also the reason Danish Pastry's typically are a lot better than most places, is the choice of Butter, the worlds best Butter "Lurpak", which some other Countries imports for that exact reason 🙂

As far as the bad servive from waiter thing goes, i would argue that that's more of a Copenhagen thing and not a Danish thing. And Danish
    food is AMAZING!!
White potatoes with brown geavy and "flæskesteg" is
    fucking awesome!! ^^ :)….

Danes start learning English in 2 grade it's like it's slowly becoming the second national language. Everyone understand and every few cant speak English mostly the older generation.
I know why the Danes maybe get a little irritated When they are asked if they can speak English, it's cause its mandatory and no one can go throw school and not learn English and they also have to struggle to learn Danish the same time. Then there comes an American or Brit and ask if they can speak English cause that is what he speaks, I know not every American is the same and many of you learn Spanish but that is what they think. It's like French men that refuse to speak English cause he is sturben and only wants to speak his native language, and the other person wants to speak with him he most learn his language. I like American people, I understand you will not learn Danish cause it's such a thiny country and it would be waist of time.

maybe its quiet on public transport because the people are being considerate of those around them – it's not eerie, its simple good manners!
