Is Cuba Still Open? Yes!

The Cuban visa was very confusing when I went in August of 2017, not with the new regulations, it’s even more confusing. I have broken down everything you need to know about how to go to Cuba as an American.

Tips on money exchange? And an estimate of how much USD for the trip.

Good information. I’m still confused by one thing. Cruise lines are making it seem you can only embark by selecting one of their excursions or an excursion by an American company.

Your viewers should understand that now, you must be aware that any travel not involving a group you must keep a detailed itinerary . The State Dept can request to view and as it applies to journalism you must work for a reputable organization because they can investigate. When I went last year, support for the cuban people was what I used and under obama's policy no questions asked .It was the most inexpensive trip I've taken now with groups being the only way Cuba will cost allot more.

So,, can someone actually check the support of cuban people box, and would they be asked questions?

I love your video thank you for sharing . Im going on a cruise with my mom and sister ( might be my mom last cruise) anyway , we are wanting to do things on our own , I was told to choose support Cuban people box but after seeing your video I’m not sure if that is the best option . What would you recommend . We just booked it we are going in June.

Going on a cruise to Havana is probably the easiest way to go now.

  • I thought you would check the box that says (get some dick)

Andrea, thanks a lot for this video.
I live in EU and hold valid tourist visa for US.
On April 01st I will visit Mexico and spend also few days in Havana (trip there organized by myself).
I booked my flight back to Europe from Miami as I also want to visit Miami Beach.
Now I have dilemma on arrival to US given prior visit to Cuba, which might couse me a problem. Will there be any issues?
Will fight back to Mexico or Panama help?
    Many thanks, Dule

I’m going soon to visit family (haven’t been in 10 years) want to stay in a hotel for a couple of days too. Any advice on how to book the hotel? Since a lot of them are restricted now. Thanks 🙂

Well, I am a dual citizen American/ Turkish. My parents will be visiting Cuba from Turkey as tourists and I want to meet up with them. I haven't seen my dad for 4 years now. I am not a regular traveler and never been in Cuba. I see Jetblue sells tickets and they said I can get my visa at the door but, I am just a guy, not a journalist or anything, I want to do this properly without any headache and my visit will be fairly short, 5-6 days. Which box should I check in this case? Your knowledge is appreciated. Thank you.
