I was about to buy my plane tickets to London and book a room for ten days. I spent many days looking for the perfect room and found some that were adequate. Then I worked on a detailed itinerary for the whole trip. I was so excited. Basically I wanted to see the major attractions and some minor ones. Then I looked up how much the tickets cost for each of my places. I could not believe how expensive they are. I was taking my adult daughter so the expenses are double. The zoo would cost us $80 and London Tower and Bridge $50.

Now I think I won't make the trip. Yes, I know I can find a lot of cheap and fun things to do but I'm obsessed with history and going to London without seeing the classical places is too cruel for me.

Sooo… most of my budget is designated for pubbing (is that even a word?)

My wife and I enjoy your videos as we are headed to London for 5 days next month (September). We will go on the East End street art tour and were wondering if there were other neighborhoods that had an abundance of street art? Thanks

Nice vid, I’m heading to London for a couple of weeks in July/August and am budgeting for roughly £70 a day after accom. Figuring some days might need less, some might need more. And probably looking to eat out and mid to low prices places once or twice a day.

I'm staying at a hotel in the Gatwick airport… I'm sure transportation will be expensive for me considering getting the London or explorer pass
