The Way Away takes you on a trip from Havana to Viñales Cuba. Viazul bus is one of the few ways to get around cuba for tourists. But if you are brave and willing to haggle, you can get a decent price on an unlicensed taxi too.

Thanks for the video. How did you find the Jeep to take you to Vinales. We are heading to Cuba in August for my thesis and we could not secure a bus to Vinales.

You guys have such a great attitude, when I travel I always seem to have medical emergencies or a tsunami or some other natural disaster so I enjoy watching what you do from the comfort and safety of my home. I wish you many years of happy safe travels. Thank you

    Thank you for the info.
Im going to Havana for my Birthday In July and the first thing that I'm planning to do is go tour vinales. I'm wondering if the taxis are always priced per person? We are a group of 5 plus a toddler. Also how easy is it to find an unlicensed taxi (for best price) I kind of like having everything pre-planned but I'm aware that better deals happens in person.

So neat how you found Wendy!! 🙂
Too bad you have to constantly haggle over prices. That might drive me nuts!!

A package of 20-25 Cuban cigars for $25? You should buy the guy a ton you'd be rich when you get back to the US where they cost at least $50 each. Unbelievable
