In this travel vlog, we visit the ancient Roman Ruins in Morocco! Volubilis is an ancient Roman City located near Meknes. This city dates back to the 3rd C BC.

Volubilis is located at the south-western border of the Roman Empire in Africa. The city gained a number of major public buildings in the 2nd century, including a basilica, temple and triumphal arch. UNESCO listed Volubilis as a World Heritage Site in 1997.

Inside the Roman City, we visit the North Baths fed by the aqueduct, the mosaic floor depicting Hercules, The Capitoline Temple, Basilica, Arch of Caracalla – many of which are still standing despite an earthquake in the 1700s. The water system is still being used today.

We end our night in Fes, where we check into our Hotel Barceló and eat a traditional Moroccan tagine dinner.
