What do you think about Europeans charging for barhroom? You briefly mentioned it. I think it's incredibly messed up at public places bc it is a human need. What are you supposed to do if you have no money on you? Got into an argument in Germany bc of this nonsense.

When are you going to South Africa? I'm planning on going in a few months to get some dental work done (cheaper). If you're interested in going I'll buy your ticket and from there you can continue making your videos which are very popular with your audience. While you're doing that I'll be doing the dentist thing. As far as accommodations go I'll be renting an apartment whilst in Cape Town. You're welcome to stay there or roam free. Personally I hate eating alone after awhile. Let me know what you think. Rocco

I think 17 Dollars is reasonable. In Canada, when I travel to the city, It's expected that that you're going to pay those prices. The cost of the building, employee's, plus labour in making the food. 17$ is not too bad. Of course you could do it at home yourself for half the price. But when you go out, you're paying for someone else's labour.

I thought I recognized that hostel you were staying at. The upper secondary schoool I went to is in the same building. Funny story, they had bedbugs at some point, so they decided to put their matresses in the sauna, which is weird, because as far as I know bedbugs enjoy hot and arid places. Needless to say it didn't end up as they had expected… unless they expected fire trucks to be sent out and having to evacuate one hostel and two schools because of the severe black smoke that is.

No swedish woman know to cook.
Half of their salaries go to ready made food and restaurants.
The other half for the trip to Tayland.

    Good and informative video. 🙂

Some budget tips if you want to see Stockholm from the water. Try the commuter boat from Nybroplan. It's the same price as for the regular buses in town. Also Gamla stan is a must see. It's the old Stockholm with buidings from around the 17th century and some even older than so (for example fundaments to some buildings and cellars). To get the most out of it I would highly recommend a guided tour.

Great video of my hometown!! But if you want to eat in this town it is embarrasing how little Swedish food you can get in the city. I think it is a expensive city but even the fastfood is expensive so you just have to pay a little more to get Swedish food in town. The clue is to find these restaurants because it is really hard to find good restaurants that serves good Swedish food here. If you are a vegetarian. You will find lots of good places that serves really good food. But if you like traditional food, it´s like I said much more difficault. Most of the restaurants here that serves Swedish traditional meals here is just embarrasing and the taste is just ordinary. Stockholm is very international and that is what is shown in your video. You can find anything to eat but the clue is to find the Swedish cuisine. The ströming plate that you had with the cheap Swedish beer for 139 kronor is just not good publicity for our town.
